From 23 – 26 Nov 2023, the first post-Covid annual conference of the Federation for Asian Cultural Promotion (FACP) was also held at Weiwuying, jointly hosted by the FACP and Weiwuying. The theme, Next Stage, Green Generation—Sustainability in Culture and Performing Arts, was chosen in response to the major economic and environmental challenges posed to the performing arts in the post-Covid era. The conference included forums and visits to local art organisations. For Asian Gems in the Arts, a time-honored part of the conference, artists selected by FACP governors presented their work. In addition, Pitch for New Aspects, which was aimed at supporting the development of new work also featured the submissions of new and emerging artists.
