SCCC unveils new Arts Residents and renews Visual Arts Partnerships

Arts Residency Scheme

SCCC launches its Arts Residency Scheme (ARS) as part of its continuing efforts to support the local arts and cultural ecosystem. The ARS represents a significant evolution in SCCC’s commitment to nurturing local arts and cultural organisations in Singapore. This enhanced scheme will provide resident arts groups with affordable administrative spaces, professional mentorship and training opportunities, commissioning possibilities, and complimentary use of SCCC’s venues for presentations, training and rehearsals. The three arts and cultural groups selected for the ARS are Drum Feng, Reverberance, and Tampines Arts Troupe from April 2025.

Visual Arts Partnership Programme 

Besides welcoming new arts residents, SCCC is also renewing its partnerships with eight local visual arts groups under its Visual Arts Partnership programme. These groups comprise the Federation of Art Societies (Singapore), Artists Society of Singapore, Modern Art Society Singapore, Sculpture Society (Singapore), Siaw-Tao Chinese Seal-Carving Calligraphy & Painting Society, The Singapore Art Society, The Society of Chinese Artists and The Singapore Watercolour Society. These partnerships have played a crucial role in helping local visual arts groups overcome the challenge of finding and securing affordable and accessible exhibition spaces for their annual showcases.
