Adaptive Futures: Supporting Performing Arts Centres to Lead on Climate Solutions

As Australia continues to confront the realities of a rapidly changing climate, the performing arts sector is stepping forward, to actively shape a more sustainable future. PAC Australia’s Adaptive Futures is a new free online professional development programme designed to support performing arts centres and cultural organisations with the tools, confidence and strategic insight on climate solutions.  

Designed alongside the new Australian peak body, Creative Climate, the series highlights the powerful role arts organisations can play in driving climate solutions. Each session tackles a different aspect of climate action through a business, operational and creative lens, giving teams across organisations the tool to understand their influence and make meaningful change.  

Sessions kicked off in Oct and conclude on 12 Dec 2025. All sessions are now available to watch online, and participants are welcome to attend the full programme or select the sessions most relevant to their role, whether in governance, programming, venue management, marketing or creative leadership.
