MELBOURNE RECITAL CENTRE APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Melbourne Recital Centre is delighted to announce that in March, Jasja van Andel was appointed to the role of Head of Operations, joining the Centre’s Senior Leadership Team. Mr van Andel’s portfolio encompasses the Centre’s technical and event delivery/concert presentation functions. Mr van Andel was previously the Melbourne Recital Centre’s Technical Manager, joining the company in 2012.

The Centre recently reorganised its Programming and Presenter Services departments to more effectively serve its artists, hirers and presenters. Marshall McGuire (previously Director of Artistic Planning) is now Director of Programming, overseeing all of the Centre’s artistic output including venue for hire operations and its own presentations and learning and access programme.

The Centre hosts or presents around 600 events annually for an audience of close to 200,000.
