30th IAMA International Conference

The International Artist Managers’ Association will present their 30th IAMA International conference from 22 to 24 Apr at L’Auditori in Barcelona and we welcome all artist managers and presenters to subscribe to the event when it opens booking in Jan 2020. Phonographic Performers Ltd (PPL, UK) has agreed to continue its support of the IAMA/AEAA (European Association) joint directory of classical artists and who represents them.  If AAPPAC members wish to find out who represents an artist in (mostly) the classical music sphere, the information is free to the user and we welcome feedback. The joint directory has taken a brand-new turn too in partnership with Operabook, a product of Opera Europa, in the form of a new digital book for opera casting from January 2020.  This is a major step forward in making available an association resource for the professional presenter/promoter and opera company without cost to the user as it is supported by the members of the various organisations.  An official launch will take place at the Liceu opera house, Barcelona on 23 Apr 2020.
