Lee Hyun-jung named the new CEO of LG Arts Center 

Lee Hyun-jung was appointed as the new CEO of LG Arts Center. She took over the role on 1 December 2021. Lee was named the CEO of LG Arts Center in the recent LG Group’s annual reshuffle of group executives. She will be the 5th CEO of LG Arts Center, following Kim Eui-joon, Youn Yeo-soon, Chung Chang-hoon, and Sim Woo-seob 

CEO Lee Hyun-jung joined LG Arts Center in 1996 while the Center was in the midst of preparations for theatre’s opening. She was highly recognised for her achievements and consecutively served as the Head and the Director of Programming. Lee played a key role in creating the virtuous cycle of theatre branding such as programming of LG Arts Center’s annual programme CoMPAS (Contemporary of Music and Performing Arts Season) which contributed to securing the loyal fans that the theatre now holds. She also played a significant role in the theatre’s season programming, as well as the creation of their ticket packages.  

With the appointment of CEO Lee, LG Arts Center, slated to open in Magok in October 2022 at its new home, is expected to strengthen its expanded role in the new region in addition to its renowned reputation.
