BAC Launches Academy Programme and Holds an Integrity Proclamation Ceremony

BAC Academy Programme 2024

Bucheon Arts Center (BAC) is preparing to launch its own Academy Programme in 2024.

The Academy programme will consist of four initiatives:

• Music Society of the BAC (MS-BAC) is designed for opinion leaders in the city of Bucheon and the surrounding metropolitan area. MS-BAC will offer lectures and music together with several types of ensembles.
• Comfortable classical music (listen to lying down) for workers tired of their daily lives and have recently taken interest in classical music and arts & culture. This programme will consist of talks between guides and artists, as well as performances.
• Arts Play is designed for children to promote arts educational experiences. These include activities such as the making of traditional style dummy dolls, the preparing of small presentations with parents, and trying several different instruments with instructors. Arts Play aims to create a friendly and familiar atmosphere for the participants.
• Special Lecture is an initiative for interested and potential audiences in classical music and arts & culture to explore specific topics like architectural sound, organ, and the power of classical music through special lectures.

All BAC Academy programmes will be offered from Mar – Dec 2024.

Integrity Proclamation Ceremony of the BAC

The management at Bucheon Arts Center recently held a ceremony of Integrity Proclamation to uphold an organisational culture of integrity, ethical management and the value of public interest. This ceremony was prepared in response to increasing public interest and policy demands for strengthening ethical management within the public sector in South Korea.

The BAC hopes that through continuous workplace education, incidents such as workplace bullying, and overuse of power will be prevented, creating a safe organisational culture for its staff.
