New CEO of DFP and MPO

The Board of Trustees of Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) and the Board of Directors of Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) would like to welcome Mr Sareen bin Risham as the Chief Executive Officer of DFP and MPO with effect from 1 October 2018.

A graduate from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, Sareen began his career in PETRONAS in 1999 as a Legal Officer and progressed through various roles in the legal fraternity. His previous positions in PETRONAS were as  Executive Assistant to both the Vice President of Legal Division and Senior General Manager of the Legal and Corporate Affairs Division.

He was also Senior Manager of Legal and Corporate Affairs Department in PETRONAS Penapisan Melaka and had worked in Indonesia for a PETRONAS joint venture company, overlooking the Customer and Contract Management portfolio. Since 2014, he is the Honorary Secretary of the Malaysian Petroleum Club (MPC).

An avid reader, he spends his free time reading theological and philosophical books, as well as listening to music.
