KMP
KMP continues to build bridges between countries by facilitating a deeper understanding between cultures through the performing arts. The focus of KMP has largely been touring exceptional artists and their projects as well as nurturing collaborations between countries within Asia Pacific, between Asia Pacific and North America, and beyond. In 2016, KMP delivered over 90 performances in the United States; 29 in China; 16 in Australia; 3 in Indonesia; 4 in South Korea; 4 in the Philippines; 5 in the UK; 1 in Qatar; and 11 in Japan.

In 2017, between January and end of June, KMP delivered 62 performances in the United States by artists from America, Ukraine and China; 9 performances in Australia by artists from China; 2 in France by American artists; 4 in Germany by artists from India; and 2 performances in South Korea by artists from Israel. The second half of the year looksequally interesting with performances moving from the USA to China; Cambodia to Australia and North America; Israel to the United States; USA to Australia; China to North America and so much more.
While KMP maintains its headquarters in the United States with a satellite partner office in China, they will be expanding again with another satellite office in Australia this year. And with a new partnerships and alliances KMP will also be expanding with special projects and initiatives in Europe, Southeast Asia and Latin America. Founder of KMP, Kristopher McDowell will be moving into more of a consulting role with the company while the company proceed under the leadership of KMP’s current President, Andrew Delicata.
New additions to the KMP roster this year include: Australian Dance Theatre, under the artistic leadership of Garry Stewart; Beijing Dance Theater under the Artistic leadership on Yuanyuan Wang; Bruce Wood Dance Company (Dallas, Texas); METdance (Houston, Texas); Charlotte Ballet under the artistic leadership of Hope Muir; Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre’s production of The Dreamer (which was created in association with Gecko Theatre Company); and the representation of Mummenschanz (Switzerland) for the Asia Pacific Region.
