Singapore Writers Festival 2025

The Singapore Writers Festival 2025, themed Shape of Things to Come, marks Singapore’s 60th year of independence by reflecting on how the nation’s past and present shape its future. Exploring themes of identity, heritage, and transformation, the festival delves into design, architecture, and evolving literary forms. It will honour Singapore’s publishing legacy across all four official languages, celebrate homegrown voices, and broaden conversations through diverse perspectives, including those of public figures from various fields. With a strong focus on science fiction, speculative narratives, historical reflection, and community storytelling, and with an exciting lineup of authors, perspectives, and thought-provoking conversations, SWF 2025 will challenge and inspire audiences as we reflect on the Shape of Things to Come.
