Organised by Arts House Group, Goodman Arts Centre Artventure invites visitors to step into one of Singapore’s largest creative enclaves at Goodman Arts Centre, through year-round self-guided trails and Open Studios. The initiative offers an immersive way to explore a vibrant and diverse arts community, where artists across performing, visual and interdisciplinary practices open their doors to share their work, processes and creative journeys.
Throughout the year, visitors can wander into selected studios marked ‘Open’ to catch artistic practice in motion or join one of four dedicated Open Studio Days for deeper access and engagement with artists. The self-guided trails include:
- The Curious Wanderer, where visitors can pick up a trail map and explore freely, collecting stamps along the way.
- The Art Explorer, which visitors can venture through the Centre’s spaces to spot artworks and learn more about the artists behind them.
- The Time Discoverer – Through Postcards from the Past, visitors can uncover the Centre’s layered history.
Whether you’re interested in artistic processes or looking for ways to spend your day, GAC offers an opportunity to experience creativity in action and connect with artists.
Come wander, linger and discover what unfolds behind the studio doors.

Singapore Writers Festival (Image courtesy of Arts House Group)
The Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) 2026, themed Hidden in Plain Sight, invites audiences to question what they perceive as obvious and obscure in an age of shifting narratives. As deepfakes and disinformation continue to blur the boundaries between fact and fiction, the Festival examines how notions of “truth” can be deconstructed, reinterpreted or concealed in literature and beyond.
Organised by Arts House Group, SWF is Singapore’s premier multilingual literary festival, bringing together voices across languages, cultures and disciplines to foster dialogue and exchange. This year, the Festival shines a spotlight on literary genres that delve into the unseen and unexplored, from gripping crime fiction and revealing memoirs to works that uncover hidden histories and amplify overlooked voices.
Through a thought-provoking and dynamic line-up of programmes, conversations and performances, SWF 2026 invites audiences to question assumptions, engage with diverse perspectives, and discover the complexities that lie beneath the surface. Join us as we explore the stories, secrets and truths that are often Hidden in Plain Sight.
