WestK Cabaret Nights

WestK is thrilled to unveil the inaugural season of WestK Cabaret Nights, a brand-new series featuring interdisciplinary performances that blend music and theatre to showcase the vibrant spirit of Hong Kong’s multicultural cabaret scene.

The first season of WestK Cabaret Nights is presented at the Xiqu Centre from May to July 2025, featuring a dynamic programme that combines various forms of live entertainment, spanning from music of various genres and music theatre to storytelling and stand-up comedy from both experienced and emerging artists.

The theme in July, The Courage to Dream, will conclude the season with performances that honour those who dare to dream in our city, showcasing acts such as:

• Award-winner of Hong Kong Film Award for Best Original Film Song Tse Nga-yiwill return from Taipei to Hong Kong for a heartfelt solo performance, reminiscing her whimsical and sentimental experience as a street performer
• 3 emerging musical performers will come together for a captivating medley: Yeung Chun-towill share the ways of survival as an introvert in the local theatre industry; Cecilia Lau will weave interactive elements into a poetic show featuring live music and drama; and Nicole Tam will channel her thoughts into a selection of songs, exploring the ups and downs of life’s journey

The next season of WestK Cabaret Nights will run from Aug to Oct 2025, presenting even more diverse talent, fresh creative concepts and innovative performances that will further push the boundaries of Hong Kong’s cabaret scene.
