  • NCPA MUDRA 2018

Mudra Dance Festival is a thematic dance festival curated by the NCPA every year around International dance day at the NCPA premises. After having themes like motherhood, Bhakti poetry and colours, Mudra 2018 is around the theme – Interconnectedness.

  • SAZ-E – BAHAR – FESTIVAL OF INDIAN INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

Indian subcontinent abounds in a variety of musical instruments, and a considerable specialisation is displayed in instrumental usage, both in north and south Indian art music. Instruments present music solo, provide melodic or rhythmic accompaniment, or produce drones.

The current edition of this two-day festival will showcase four instrumentalists wielding instruments from different categories – string-plucked (sitar), string-bowed (violin), air-blown (shehnai) and drums-percussion (tabla).

  • ANANDA HINDI NATYA UTSAV 2018

Ananda Hindi Natya Utsav, the Hindi theatre festival by NCPA showcases original Hindi plays that have strong literary roots. This May, Ananda will feature plays in a new, fresh and unique form, style and content. Some of the best theatre groups in Mumbai such as IPTA, Ank, Ekjute and Yatri have performed, along with new and budding companies.

  • NCPA SUMMER FIESTA 2018

Summer Fiesta is a one and half month-long festival in May by NCPA for children to spend their vacation in an exciting way. It is loaded with interesting workshops with wide choices from theatre, dance, photography, puppetry, art, craft, creative writing, poetry, animation film-making and many more along with fun-filled entertainment through series of plays and films specially picked for children.
