2019 CCP Summer Arts Academy

The 2019 Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Summer Arts Academy is especially designed to provide teachers (non-beginners) and early career professionals with professional and specialised training on their respective art forms, to build their capacities and advance their artistic development by focusing on production and performance techniques, principles/processes, arts knowledge and skills, and pedagogical approaches.
Esteemed artists teachers consist Al Bernard Garcia and Ronnie Mirabuena on Culture-based Choreography for Street Dance Festival; Intensive Workshop for Dance Teachers by Ballet Philippines Dance School; Costume Design for Street Dance Festival by Santi Obcena, 2nd Runner-Up, Project Runway Philippines Season 2/Bronze winner, Ternocon 2018; Film Scriptwriting by Clodualdo del Mundo Jr of the De La Salle University – Manila; Mixed Media by Leo Gerardo “Gerry” Leonardo of the Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA); Rehearsal and Performance Technique by Dennis Marasigan; Stage Management by Ed Murillo; Managing Your Arts Event by the CCP Programmers; Children’s Choral Workshop by Dr Elizabeth Susan Vista-Suarez of SU College of Performing and Visual Arts; Music Therapy by Danielle Elise Vista-Zamar of SU College of Performing and Visual Arts.

The workshop is slated in Manila from 29 April to 9 May at the CCP Venues and from 6 to 10 May at Silliman University (SU), Dumaguete City.
