From 26 November 2021, we are presenting our ground-breaking performance of SUPER ANGEL – New Opera with Children and an Android which was staged in August 2021.
SHIBUYA Keiichiro’s well-received work brings together an android, children, professional opera singers and the New National Theatre Chorus, ballet dancers, orchestra, video images and design. It invites us into a world of coexistence with technology.
During the Holiday Season, we are also presenting the enjoyable Opera Buffa’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini staged in February 2020. Internationally renowned Rossinianis including René BARBERA, WAKIZONO Aya, Paolo BORDOGNA, Florian SEMPEY, and Marco SPOTTI make the audiences burst into laughter. Josef E. KÖPPLINGER’s fast-paced and comical production will surely be the best opera to watch during the holidays when you are spending time with those who matter most to you.
