Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre Launched New Monthly Concert Series for Seniors

Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) launched a new dialect concert series Happy Sing-Along for seniors from October 2023 to April 2024.

Happy Sing-Along is hosted by renowned television and radio personalities Marcus Chin, Lee Peifen and Hao Hao. Audiences can look forward to captivating performances of nostalgic dialect and Mandarin pop songs by local artistes. The sessions will also include engaging Q&A segments and entertaining skits that delve into various facets of local Chinese culture such as food, language, and festivals.

The sessions will be held at the SCCC Auditorium on selected Wednesdays across the months and livestreamed on SCCC’s Facebook page.

Tickets are available at S$5 on ticketmaster.sg and all post offices. Join us for this heart-warming journey down memory lane through the universal language of music.

New Free Exhibition from November to Explore What is Perseverance

Hi K, I’ve Got This: Drawing Perseverance by Singaporean illustrator Paige Lee will be on display at SCCC Level 9 and 10 Foyers from November 2023 till April 2024.

Visitors will be stepping into the world of K, the central character in Paige Lee’s illustrations. You will find K on a park bench, at work or at home, always ready to rise above challenges, and finding hope in tough times. Through her lively illustrations, Paige offers a personal perspective on how we can overcome challenges in our everyday lives with perseverance, a value cherished by many generations of Chinese in Singapore.
