Celebrate at Chinese New Year Family FUN 2024!

Celebrate Chinese New Year the SINGAPO人* way at the CNY Family FUN 2024!

The event spans over three days from 26 – 28 Jan 2024 at the premises of Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Singapore Chinese Orchestra (located in the Singapore Conference Hall). There will be fun-filled activities specially curated for families and children, revolving around the theme of “Engaging Traditions”.

Take part in a wide variety of activities, workshops and programmes designed for families and suitable for all ages at CNY Family FUN.

Meet BeLONG at SCCC’s first art playground!

Inspired by Singapore’s iconic HDB dragon playgrounds, BeLONG’s Art Playground is an interactive rooftop art installation that celebrates the Year of the Dragon. This is also the first art playground commissioned by SCCC.

Say hello to our dragon character BeLONG and relive your childhood in his playground in the sky! BeLONG welcomes the young and young-at-heart to explore Singapore’s unique Chinese New Year customs within a fun and colourful playground designed by our local artists.

BeLONG’s Art Playground runs from 18 Dec 2023 to 30 Apr 2024 at SCCC’s rooftop garden.

Visit The Good Hood: Where Values Come Home Exhibition

Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, Malay Heritage Centre, and Indian Heritage Centre collaborate for the first time to jointly develop this travelling exhibition on 10 universal values. It showcases values such as loyalty, filial piety, kindness, righteousness, integrity, and perseverance which are shared across various ethnicities.

This exhibition thrusts families to interact and play with the exhibition, while inviting them to learn and explore the different essential values important to various communities in Singapore.

The exhibition will first be at SCCC from 15 Dec 2023 to 7 Feb 2024, before making its way to shopping malls, libraries, and schools.

Reminisce memories at Happy Sing-Along

Join us at our monthly dialect concert series for seniors hosted by renowned television and radio personalities Marcus Chin, Lee Peifen and Hao Hao, where audiences can look forward to captivating performances of nostalgic dialect and Mandarin pop songs by local artistes. Selected sessions will also include engaging Q&A segments and entertaining skits that delve into various facets of local Chinese culture such as food, language, and festivals.

Chill out at TGIF Music Station!

Featuring Singapore’s favourite performing artists and rising stars, join us at this brand-new edition of TGIF Music Station every month, where you can chill out with good local music sung, produced and composed by our very own talents!

Performances will be in hybrid format with live performance at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and livestream on several platforms including SCCC and YES 933’s Facebook and TikTok pages. Admission is free.
