CIRQUE ÉLOIZE CIRKOPOLIS – FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SOUTH KOREA
Cirque Éloize’s Cirkopolis is set to thrill audiences in Seoul, Ulsan and Incheon for this quick and filled with passion month of July.
As this Drama Desk Award winning production triumphant’s world tour draws closer to Asia, it will be a pleasant return in front of South Korean audiences for a creation of Cirque Éloize.

We would like to give a special mention to the LG Art Center, a new partner of Cirque Éloize and a fellow AAPPAC member, for their support in making this South Korea tour of Cirkopolis a reality.
Cirkopolis has visited around 30 countries and more than 115 cities. Combining dance, theatre and circus with a splash of humour, the show renews and transcends these disciplines to create a place where the artists are allowed to express their freedom.
Performing within an inventive stage design, and accompanied by an original musical score and video projections, they live in a world where fantasy defies reality — the veil of anonymity and solitude is lifted and replaced by bursts of colour.

About Cirkopolis
With Cirkopolis, Cirque Éloize presents a show that combines the worlds of circus, dance and theatre. In the heart of a stern and imposing city in appearance, giant gears and dark portals symbolise a mechanism that crushes individuality. Performing within an inventive stage design and accompanied by an original musical score and video projections, twelve acrobats and multidisciplinary artists rebel against monotony, reinvent themselves and challenge the limits of the factory-city. Cirque Éloize
A driving force in the circus art reinvention movement, Cirque Éloize has been creating award-winning entertainment content for 25 years and ranks among the world’s leading contemporary circuses. Cirque Éloize has taken part in numerous prestigious international festivals and has seduced both New York’s Broadway and London’s West End. Its productions are crafted for a wide range of audiences and have been embraced by over fifty cultures.
Cirque Éloize’s productions have proudly boasted more than 5,500 performances in over 550 cities and have been seen by over 3.5 million spectators. Cirkopolis and Saloon are the two international touring shows under the Cirque Éloize banner and Hotel, the newest creation, will be launched in August 2018. Cirque Éloize has also participated in the most prestigious festivals. In addition to its touring shows, more than 1,600 Cirque Éloize-designed events have taken place worldwide.
