Welcome to the 2018/19 VCH season

With its unique blend of historical charm and intimate acoustics, the Victoria Concert Hall (VCH) is a perfect setting for audiences in Singapore to create memorable and close encounters with music. In this spirit, we are excited to announce the brand new 2018/19 season at the VCH, Home of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO).

Rosamunde and the Nightingale

Join the musicians of the SSO at SSO Chamber Series: Rosamunde and the Nightingale on 3 Aug, as the new season for VCH programmes opens with the introspective musical thoughts of Schubert and Brahms. Open your heart to the smiling melancholy and intimate passion of Schubert’s Rosamunde Quartet, and ephemeral joy and meditative musings of Brahms’ Clarinet Trio.

Mark Suter

Drawing from his experience as a member of the Grammy Award-winning Silk Road Ensemble, Project: World is conceptualised by SSO percussionist Mark Suter. Exploratory by nature, the first half features Mark and his friends in specially commissioned pieces both energetic and inspiring, involving a wide range of percussion. End the evening with Mark and his jazz piano trio in a fascinating discovery of jazz.
