DEWAN FILHARMONIK PETRONAS PRESENTS EXCITING CONCERTS FROM JULY TO SEPTEMBER 2023
The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) Jazz Band will present a special ode to jazz and blues lovers on 9 September. With the band’s selection of popular and evergreen tunes, the breezy night will be enhanced with the accompaniment of surprise vocalists that will spellbind the audience. Together with the talented musicians from the MPO jazz band, the concert will lift your spirits like only jazz music can do.
Next in the plan is a family-themed concert by the MPO entitled Beethoven Lives Upstairs slated on 23 September. Together with the MPO is Classical Music Live! that will present a fun-filled production celebrating Beethoven’s life and music. Enjoy classical masterpieces Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise, also universal hits such as Symphony No.5 and No.9 featuring Ode To Joy. The concert will be led by MPO Resident Conductor Gerard Salonga.
