Flavour is set to take centre stage when AFC partners with South Australia’s premier food festival, RAA Travel’s Tasting Australia, to present the ultimate celebration of South Australian food, wine and entertainment. In a first for AFC, Flavour Centre Stage will join the esteemed programme of events.

Audiences are invited to gather for a five-course culinary journey through the iconic AFC. Experience a fusion of live performance and delectable South Australian food and wine pairings where each course represents a distinct festival produced by AFC.

From the vibrant energy of OzAsia Festival to the captivating melodies of Adelaide Cabaret Festival, each plate will transport you to a new world of delight and is served with a live performance to match.

Hear from Kaesler Wines chief winemaker Tim Dolan whose wines will be paired with food by chef Ryan Willard and hosted by multi award winning Cabaret performer, singer, entertainer and cook Michelle Pearson.

A 5-star James Halliday rated winery, Kaesler Wines’ distinct style and modest winemaking techniques consistently produce wines rated over 90 points by industry peers and publications.

Audiences can look forward to a unique menu and performances including;

  • First course – Indigenous ingredients in consultation with Aboriginal family-owned catering business Block Ya Dot, and a performance by dance collective Tjarutja Dance Company, which explores storytelling through dance, representing AFC’s year-round commitment to Celebrating First Nations.
  • Second course – Asian influence and a performance by Punjabi Australian singer and dancer Parvyn from the much-loved Bombay Royale, to celebrate OzAsia Festival, Australia’s leading contemporary arts festival engaging with Asia.
  • Third course – Spanish influence with a performance of majestic Flamenco guitar and dance by Casa de Flamence, celebrating Adelaide Guitar Festival, an exciting annual program of events by world-class guitarists.
  • Fourth course – French influence with performance by cabaret favourite Louise Blackwell and the French Set, inspired by Adelaide Cabaret Festival, the biggest cabaret festival in the world.
  • Fifth course – a playful dessert with a performance by the always energetic and amazing performers from Cirkidz. In recognition of DreamBIG Children’s Festival, the oldest children’s festival in the world.

With 5 -star performances all round, Flavour Centre Stage is set to celebrate what South Australia does best, Arts, Food and Wine.

Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel is one of the country’s longest running eating and drinking festivals with celebration and collaboration of people, produce and place at the heart of their existence. Each Autumn they invite audiences to step beyond a standard food festival to discover deliciously different experiences that feed their curiosity.
