Rejuvenate Your Sssoul at Huayi 2025!

Presented by Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, the 23rd edition of Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts invites everyone to wonder here and rejuvenate their soul from 7 – 16 Feb 2025!
Those who love a good story must not miss Rickshaw Boy directed by Fang Xu, who brings a fresh and innovative interpretation to this classic tale by Lao She, as well as the Singapore premiere of the acclaimed Human Condition series by celebrated Taiwanese arts icon Wu Nien-jen. Look beyond and see the inner world of an elderly man through Singapore theatre practitioner Alvin Chiam, as he writes, directs, and performs in his first solo work, Last Luncheon, and explore the essence of dance and of life through Cultural Medallion recipient Low Mei Yoke’s Dance with Me. Songwriters tell stories of everyday life through music, so audiences can also immerse themselves in concerts such as What is Qin by Zi De Guqin Studio of China, The Temple of Resonance by Taiwan’s Uni Percussion, and The Heart of Jun: Memoirs of Zhaojun by Singapore nanyin ensemble Siong Leng Musical Association in collaboration with Taiwanese director Lee Yi Hsiu.
