CNY Family FUN 2026

Jointly organised by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and Singapore Chinese Orchestra, CNY Family FUN 2026 (CNYFF) is a signature festival that brings families together in festive celebration in the heart of the Central Business District.

Held over a weekend from 30 Jan to 1 Feb 2026, this three-day event will feature 25 family-friendly programmes, performances and activities at SCCC and Singapore Conference Hall.

One of the festival highlights is Lion Dance Showcases – Roaring Good Times at SCCC Concourse, where you can catch Fo He lions, Golden lions, Hainanese lions, Hokkien Green Lion and Hakka Qilin in action as performed by five local lion dance troupes.

For those keen to learn more about lion dance, don’t miss Tradition in Motion: Singapore’s Lion Dance Heritage. Featuring over 50 artefacts, photographs, posters and figurines, the exhibition explores the rich history, evolution and innovations of local lion dance troupes. Children can also pick up basic lion dance steps and try their hands at drumming and cymbals in Cubs on the Move: Children’s Lion Dance Workshop and Dragon Up the Fun: Children’s Dragon Dance Workshop, guided by experienced instructors.

Over at SCCC’s Multi-Purpose Hall, families and children can also enjoy a festive wonderland with CNY-themed theatre performances, free festive snacks, and hands-on craft activities such as couplet writing with seal stamping, accessories making and more.

In addition, SCCC’s Roof Garden will be transformed into an Instagrammable photo spot with the Centre’s “Finding Harny” festive installation featuring colourful horse sculptures and auspicious motifs to welcome the Year of the Horse. The installation as well as a zodiac forecast exhibition will be on display from 6 Jan to 20 May 2026 and admission is free.
