Singapore International Festival of Arts 2026 (SIFA) – Let’s Play!
Get ready to revel in the arts this May through play! The Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) takes place from 15 – 30 May with epic international stagings and homegrown works. Led by the call‑to‑action Let’s Play!, the festival transforms theatres, public spaces and the city itself into sites of exploration, imagination and shared experience.

Key highlights of SIFA 2026 include:
- The return of the Festival Village at Empress Lawn and Anderson Bridge – a free, open‑access hub for performances, installations and communal encounters that extend from late night into the early hours.
- A diverse line‑up of Singapore and international works, spanning theatre, music, dance and interdisciplinary performance including Salesman之死, Lush Life, Strangely Familiar《熟悉的陌生》, LACRIMA, Hedda Gabler and Hamlet.
- Strong emphasis on accessibility and public engagement, with free performances, public installations and family‑friendly programmes, from Little SIFA to large‑scale public works across the festival.
- Community‑centred activations in the heartlands, bringing high‑impact artistic experiences closer to where people live and gather.

Monstrous Fun! 2026
Get ready to stomp, scribble, sing and imagine your way into the June school holidays – Monstrous Fun! is back with a refreshed edition for 2026.
Part of Civic District Children’s Season 2026, the historic halls of The Arts House at the Old Parliament will transform into a lively playground of creativity, where children aged five and up can dive into a world of stories, art and imagination.
Organised by Arts House Group, the festival invites families to explore a playful line-up of hands-on activities, performances and creative encounters designed to spark curiosity and self-expression. Whether it’s crafting your own creature, discovering new stories, or joining in interactive experiences, there’s plenty of monstrous fun waiting around every corner.
