About Singapore Writers Festival 2026 From 13 – 22 Nov, the Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) 2026, themed Hidden in Plain Sight, invites audiences to question what they perceive as obvious and obscure in an age of shifting narratives. As deepfakes and disinformation continue to blur the boundaries between fact and fiction, the festival examines how notions of “truth” can be deconstructed, reinterpreted or concealed in literature and beyond. Organised by Arts House Group, SWF is Singapore’s premier multilingual literary festival, bringing together voices across languages, cultures and disciplines to foster dialogue and exchange. This year, SWF shines a spotlight on literary genres that delve into the unseen and unexplored, from gripping crime fiction and revealing memoirs to works that uncover hidden histories and amplify overlooked voices. Through a thought-provoking and dynamic line-up of programmes, conversations and performances, SWF 2026 invites audiences to question assumptions, engage with diverse perspectives, and discover the complexities that lie beneath the surface. Join us as we explore the stories, secrets and truths that are often Hidden in Plain Sight. For more info, visit: URL: https://www.singaporewritersfestival.com/
